Sailed Hove from 12:30 til 2:00. 5.5m ezzy on rww83. When I arrived it was monster swell and howling further out to sea. Luckily rigged big to punch through the shorebreak because the wind seemed to ease a bit straight away. Still, planing most of the time although pumping to keep there. Swell diminished fast too, going from over head to waist high. Good sesh, some clean DLT, but no jumping to speak of. Sunny throughout and a million New Year's Day walkers strolling along the prom.
